PMC Weekend

Well, it's PMC weekend - Pan Massachusetts Challenge - a bike ride up to 192 miles with the goal of raising $34 million for cancer research & treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and its Jimmy Fund. There will be 5500 riders riding several different routes and one of the routes passes right by my house! Every year I have the privilege of watching and cheering these riders on to complete their mission of making it to the Mass Maritime Academy in Bourne for the night. This year, 3 friends of mine will ride in honor of those who have passed and for those who are presently battling this dreaded disease. Kevin lost his Mom a few months ago, Jyl lost her Mom 18 years ago, Debbi lost a cousin a few years back - all to cancer - don't we all know someone who has passed or who is struggling to beat cancer presently? Currently 2 people that I know and love are fighting cancer! The PMC donates 100% of all funds raised directly to the Jimmy Fund. Do you know someone who is riding this year?
