A couple of weeks ago on a sunny albeit chilly day, I visited Alda to photograph Gabriella outside in the snow. We had talked about snow portraits some time ago and finally the day was perfect. Not too cold and not snowing! We decided to go to the train station in North Easton - I had recently found this great trunk and thought it would be perfect for the train station. Alda found this beautiful faux fur brown coat and I fell in love with Gabriella all over again! You see, I first photographed her when she was only 4 weeks old. (Alda and I have been working together for quite some time and I've photographed all four of her children since they were babies!)
Well, back to the photo at hand - this is where we started and is just one of the adorable images at the station. Don't you just love the feel of this little girl sittin' on a trunk waiting for her train? And those gorgeous glass panes in the background - it was a very cool location!
Gabriella was so good to brave the chilly weather. Her smile is contagious.
We left the train station and then headed to another cool architectural location right around the corner where we did this one. Gabriella put on her new blue coat with hood and hand muff! I loved the hand muff. Isn't she adorable!!! We had lots of fun at this location running, twirling and playing. One of our last few images were in this little tunnel and by now Gabriella was pretty cold, me too! We went into the snow and she decided she was going to get me back for keeping her out so long and decided to throw snowballs at me! Uh oh - look at that giggle on her face and you can see the snow coming right at me!

In the wintertime we think ugh I don't want to go outside, much less take portraits. Well, this was a great day and some lovely portraits were made from this one and only moment! Thanks Alda and Gabriella for a fun morning out on a chilly day. Can't wait for you to see the rest!

Lovely. I think that the young girl with the classic setting is beautiful.
