A New Dimension(s)

Let me start off by saying I have wavy, thick hair that has a mind of it's own and frizzes in the humidity. I'm not complaining and am grateful to have it but I'm pretty particular about who I see for a hair cut and style (and maybe a little color)! I've been going to Dimensions Design and Wellness Studio in Carver since Aug 2003 (oh, I love my Quicken!) when the salon was in the owner Linda's home on the lower level. She had 3 chairs, 2 sinks and it was quite cozy. But she had outgrown her space. And Linda had a dream, a big dream of one day opening up a stand alone salon spa. Well, she has done it and the new Dimensions is gorgeous!!!

There is now plenty of space and plenty of services, from a chair massage to

a facial with steam! Have to keep your beautiful face clean - I love the steam.

In the shampoo area there are these very funky, cool sinks that cradle your neck.

And while your head is in the sink and you're looking up at the ceiling, here's what you'll see - constellations, the big and little dipper! How cool is that? No more boring white ceiling!

Here's just a peek of where all the magic happens...where my hair is tamed, cut, smoothed out and styled. Coffee, tea or water are always offered and sometimes even hand massages.

Need product? There's plenty, from shampoo to conditioner to hand lotion to makeup to soap to candles and there's even stuff for the man in your life!

Linda has really done a superb job of creating this wonderful environment and has thought of every detail. So, if you're in need of a new stylist, a new salon service, a spa service you've got to experience the hot new spot at Dimensions. They're having a Grand Opening on May 28th from 5-8p.m. Come by and see what everyone's talking about!

Congratulations Linda and the entire staff at Dimensions - I'll be there!
